Research the ScienceAfter she said that the kidneys can only filter 6 cups of water a day, I thought that doesn't sound right. Googled it, and according to Berkley.edu, the kidneys filter 180liters every day. Which is about 47 gallons. Now, they excrete 6 to 8 cups through urine in a typical day. Maybe that's what the author meant? I think the author should have stuck to telling her own story. Anecdotally that's interesting, but I don't trust her understanding of the science.

I was hoping this book would be more personal inspiration than how to, because the how to is just ridiculous, the person writing use these methods herself, but they are not in alignment necessarily with Keto or Paleo approaches even though she recommends those approaches. Even though I saw a lot of other critical reviews I decided to read this anyway, and it really is an advertisement for a lot of her other writings and includes recipes from other bucks she has on Amazon. A few easy, good recipes, and a short personal story!I like the recipes, easy and quick, however she didn't list macros which is important for me to be on a keto diet. Also, keto is based on 5%-15% carb intake, her recipes call for flour, broccoli and other fruits that are naturally high in carb/sugar. She also does advertise her other free recipe ebooks, which is fine, just a little too much! I will take a look at them.
