This is a heartwarming story of a strong independent young woman! Starting anew is tough enough with out being scared as well! The plot takes a few twists but all comes together in the end. The characters develop naturally as the story unfolds with out forcing the plot. The world is well described in small doses so the reader is not left to wade through endless text. This is a good book and I look forward to the next.

I loved this book! Strong characters and the real feeling of family. I love that it's set in Kentucky. Can't wait to see what the rest of this series brings!
