Description

The Shroud Of Turin is a linen cloth that bears the image of a man that is believed to be Jesus of Nazareth. Some Christians deem this to be the burial shroud of Jesus, as it is the imprint of a man bearing wounds consistent with crucifixion. This book examines the scientific evidence, the cloth, blood stains, radiocarbon dating, and DNA analysis. It also covers the current restoration status performed on the Shroud Of Turin. This phenomenon of The Shroud produces intense reactions, as the mystery bewilders scientists, physicists, theologians, and historical researchers. It is not an essay, it is an introduction into the background, and questions surrounding the Shroud of Turin. It is fact based and details the major scientific studies, where they were performed and the results. This book details the evidence conclusions and allows the reader to do extensive research based on the scientific findings.

Brief, But GoodCheryl Leonard's The Shoud of Turnin: The Scientific Evidence is really not a book, but more of a booklet. However, the author does a good job explaining the scientific evidence for the authenticity of the Shroud in a way that is easy to understand. Color photos are used to help the reader better understand the mystery of the image on the Shroud. The book is a good way to begin a study of the Shroud.

Very detail bookCheryl Leonard does a brief description of scientific evidence to date and a good back ground on the SHROUD of TURIN . In my opinion this burial garment came from first century Palestine and with the pollen, seeds and blood stained cloth the radiation burns of the 3D image is the resurrected Jesus of Nazareth the Christ.
