This short story involves an activity veiled in mystery (smuggling). Right from the start, we are thrown in with a kooky cast who are already beyond the point of no return. I kept asking WTF are they up to and what is going to happen next? Like all great short stories, "Three Days Out" sets us up in an incredible situation in which the characters (and the reader) are trapped and the only way out is to race through and read it until the end. Quite an original tale that showcases the author's imag

*****THE POWER OF GROUP THINKAre we always so confident about where we’re going and more importantly, who we are? After all, college students will binge in order to appear ‘cool,’ teenagers will do anything to avoid having egg on their faces, and keeping up with the Joneses has been in force for years and years. Great feel to this book, although short it is an interesting read. When four friends head out on a boat, one of them, Ridley begins talking about "The Secret, some join him, but one hold out. The story is imaginative and well written, just wish it was a bit longer. I have read this author before and found his reads are always interesting. I liked a few others better but found this one enjoyable and mysterious.
