Armed now with his precious Symphogram, William Muldoon must depart Lán Cúrdhal and make for the eastern canyons, to where a dark Wrythunn lurks.
As times grow ever treacherous, you will see how the road takes its toll upon our brave young hero and his newfound friends. How some bonds will blossom, while others deteriorate.
Here the faerietale ends, horrors stir in shadow and young Muldoon will need his wits about him. For there are far worse things in the darker reaches of Lythiann than Gremlins or Devil-Hounds. Not to mention the deeper, more sinister, revelations which have yet to be revealed to him.
Wow! Brilliant. This is no children's story as book one started out seemingly to be. In this book, everything is action packed, loaded with adventure. I feel attached to the characters. Part Two of this Irish fantasy series is amazing. Here we follow "our heroes" into the darkness of the east and see how the journey is taking its toll on them, William especially. Everything darkens in book two, which I loved. It went from being somewhat innocent in book one to near on worrying (in a good way) in book two. "There can be no light without dark". Highly recommend this book to early teens and up.
