As anyone who knows me can attest, I am a huge fan of space opera and military science fiction. MIDSHIPMAN HENRY GALLANT IN SPACE attracted me with its cover as well as title but I didn't know anything else. Much to my surprise, I really have enjoyed this YA book about a teenage "natural" boy in a genetically engineered Navy.
