Description

They are coming to kill her. It doesn't matter if anyone believes her or not. They are out to kill her and she can hear them calling her name.

Autumn Rees is lost in Blossom, Ohio. As a matter of fact, she is lost no matter where she runs to. She simply doesn’t fit into a world filled with those whispering voices and frightening shadows that always seem to be chasing her down.

After discovering that making it on her own isn’t going to work, she returns to Blossom and to her lifelong super hero – a man she calls "The Great Typhoon".

Tyler Rees is stuck in Blossom, Ohio. He never left the dying town in his whole life and he probably never will. A horrible car accident leaves him both physically and emotionally broken. Every day feels like he is being sucked deeper into the abyss of the crumbling town.

Best friends for as long as they can remember, Tyler and Autumn set out on a journey of healing that will take them beyond the razor-wire, pain-filled, troublesome boundaries of Blossom. Escaping however, may not prove to be the true road to healing. The shadows and those hideous whispering voices seem to follow them wherever they go.

From the Christian Choice Book Award winning author of the international bestsellers The Mystic Saga, Dominion, One Crazy Summer, Wildwood Shadows, Ghosts of Ophidian, and The Ani Maxima Files. Scott is a veteran of the US Navy having served on the USS South Carolina during Operation Desert Shield in the Red Sea. He has been happily married for more than 23 years and has two wonderful sons.

The technology and scenarios are realistic enough for this sci fi fan and if you like a good storyteller, Mr. McElhaney knows how to do it." ~Top 50 Amazon Reviewer, Hall of Fame Reviewer, and Vine Voice Michael Gallagher

Well, within the first few pages, I really wasn't interested. Not that the author didn't do a good job, but it felt like a teen drama, which is something that really turns me off in most cases. My trust that the author would do something a little different for the story made me push on. The characters were well developed, but the melodrama felt a bit more emotionally charged rather than realistic. Not bad if that is your thing, and this case it was well done, but not my cup of tea. However, the p

Another good Christian fiction story from Scott McElhaney. They are always .99 on amazon Kindle version. A girl with a troubled past. Her cousin who is her 'superhero' and some mystery. A great read. Simple writing style. Sound characters. Loved it. Will continue to read more from this author. I give "Daylight in Blossom" five stars.

A great book about fear. Sad issues told in a very entertaining way.
